So, yeah, this is a bullshit move by Google. But the article was just hyperbole; if a school doesn’t ban AI that does not mean they’re forced to use it. Journalism is a lost art.

I bet it’ll work perfectly. But, of course, there’s a bunch of mini PCs out there with a suitable form factor that would be compatible with SteamOS (has to be AMD only, but that’s basically the one requirement for SteamOS).
That said, I’d go for the Steam Machine given a choice, so…

And they are probably my favorite game from each franchise.
I had tried rogue-lite games a couple of times, but didn’t really catch my interest. But ended up loving a rogue-lite PoP big time. And their composer for the music in both games is amazing, not to mention their graphic artists - I really dig their art style.

So, cause they’re a made up fucking concept they don’t have to take responsibility for their actions???
That’s… dumb.

Hmm. That’s a very good point. And if corporations are “people”, they should be the only people subjected to capital punishment.
Cause serious enough harm? Fuck you, you’re ALL getting fired. Or at least everyone in management; the ones who actually do the work rarely have any agency in the situation, so yeah maybe don’t punish them. At least minimize harm, maybe nationalize resources and break it up.

Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse. I am a huge fan of The Rogue Prince of Persia, plus I love Castlevania, so been looking forward to this one. And I gotta say, I am not disappointed in the slightest - it’s an excellent addition to the franchise.

No. Absolutely not.
His choices are not your fault; those are his, and his alone.
Now, maybe you made some mistakes. But! Maybe you did everything right. Really. I’m not kidding.
Breakups suck because it’s like an involuntary suicide pact, in a way. The point is, you’re grieving, and that’s perfectly normal. And there’s no easy, simple way to fix this. Unfortunately, time does not heal all wounds. But time does create distance, and that distance can help dull the pain. At least enough you will be able to start thinking about this in a more rational, less emotional way.
I wish you better days, and may they come sooner rather than later! You sound like you have lots of love to give, but please remember to give some of that love to yourself - you deserve it.

Except they don’t make a browser. They just repackage chromium with some very dubious modifications. Not to mention the bullshit with stealing ad click revenue, and didn’t they have a fucking crypto miner bundled in at one point?
They’re absolute crap.

Um, did you sleep through the whole GameStop short thing where people confirmed that Wall Street is rigging the whole system…?
They’re absolutely complicit. The shenanigans we allow those fuckers on Wall Street to get away with are outlawed in many other countries.

Well, they do care, but that’s because the cruelty is the point. Basically, mass murder is the goal - they just don’t want to have to clean up the mess afterwards.

Last I heard, his opposition might hold their collective noses long enough to form a coalition with the Arab parties to force BitchBoyBibi out.

Actually, when he leaned into being a religious nutter, it offended Murdoch’s supposed principles and Tucker was shit canned.
Which doesn’t necessarily contradict what you said, just think the context is worth remembering.

Allowing money to be equated with speech is both deeply unethical, as well as being just absolutely fucking stupid.
Furthermore, refusing to restrict any speech whatsoever is both wildly impractical and totally bonkers levels of dangerous. Because according to your pithy little “absolute”, yelling fire in a crowded theater has to be allowed.
Geez, dude, go step outside and breathe the fresh air or something. My god…

That was a very pathetic attempt at trolling. Like… wow that was lame.
You good, bro?

…roughly a dozen citizens deported, mostly children.
Not deported, trafficked. By a regime that’s led by a peephole rapist.
And making it easier to sue for reparations, after the fact, only helps those in a position to file a lawsuit. So the rich fucks that aren’t even affected by this shit!

Well, for starters, your application is confirmed to not be operating correctly; essentially, you cannot necessarily count on anything behaving correctly. Another issue is parsing the log - while it’s not too difficult to check if it’s a disk related issue, accurately and successfully parsing the specific cause is maybe not so easy. It really depends, and depending on what the software does there are all sorts of odd little seeming issues that can make the whole process a headache.
Anyway, it is definitely nice when developers take the time to solve as many of the “little issues” involved as they can. Plenty of software out there that’s buggy and will just crash or glitch out. Can definitely be a breath of fresh air when shit works, or at least has errors that make sense. 😜

I have nothing against helpful error messages, please understand; just pointing out this issue is not a trivial matter. It’s not like somebody is doing this just to intentionally annoy you, after all.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯

How often do you read log files…?
Like, windows specifically stopped including the stack trace in the blue screen of death because of how rarely that proved to be necessary. And most log files are about as easy to parse, so…
Are you illiterate?
I never came anywhere close to making the claims you accuse me of. So, frankly, you’re missing some manners. Considering your response to not liking my statement was to immediately put words in my mouth. That is rather rude.
