This is iMO slightly different. Notice that all leaders sheltered by trump were from equivalent pro Russia far right parties. Orban from Hungary, Ziobro from Poland, Bolsonaro from Brazil etc.
They all worked together and sending money they stole from their countries to support each other. For example CPAC was funded by Orban. You don’t hear much about it now that he lost power.
