How T. E. Wood's 1950 survival-test cryptogram, #35 on Klaus Schmeh's Top 50 unsolved list, was solved. The key is the Lord's Prayer in German.

The star of the show was Claude (Anthropic), which wrote the search code and found the key. GPT-6 Astra (OpenAI) checked the result independently.

Gross. The cypher is fun, though.
