If you have a hankering for a monster show, look up ‘Penny Dreadful.’
An aging big game hunter and his psychic companion recruit an American sharpshooter to hunt vampires in Edwardian London. Witches, werewolves, immortals, and reanimates come and join the festivities.
It was a fun show. Eva Greene and Josh Hartnett are two of my favorite actors. Timothy Dalton is great and the supporting cast is good.
Be like most other people and avoid the Los Angeles based reboot.
Nathan Lane as a tough cop was the least horrible choice they made.
Great show!
Like most series I didn’t like the last episode but part of that was not knowing they were ending the series and being caught off guard. Definitely worth watching all the way through as it doesn’t spoil the whole series or anything.
It sucks that the leads are just the worst characters to watch and try to root for.
