    And what’s your alternative?

I see no evidence whatever that there’s a massive Left Wave silently awaiting a super candidate.

In fact, I see the opposite.

Look at Mamdani in NYC. On his election Day he got fewer votes in New York City than Harris did. He got a lower percentage of the overall vote than Harris did.

Mamdani was running against a known sexual predator and a radio shock jock with zero experience. He only got on the ballot because the incumbent was caught up in a huge scandal.

Where’s the evidence that the Left can win an election without the Dems?

No, I asked for an alternative.

        What is the alternative?

What is the evidence that the Left can win without the Dems?

Until I see actual facts I will not be swayed.

There’s about two centuries worth of theory and praxis on what the left can do to win, and I’ll give you a hint - none if it involves winning elections to take power from our oppressors.

Also, consider this a warning that electoralism is not allowed in this community. It violates our Rule 2.

Ignore it. The “Yeah it sucks but what’s your solution?” crowd will do everything possible to solidify another four years for His D’ness

See any votes against putin in Russia? 🤷 A broken democracy isn’t going to give you any reliable results. People vote “stategically” to support the system - not true to what they want or think is best. Hell the US has such a crazy anti-protest vote culture at least online here that it should count as yet another indication that it’s brokem

        Nice non sequitur.

Now if you could actually answer either of the questions I posed, it would be nice.

I don’t know about you, but I am not in Russia right now.

You’re presumably in the usa - a two party “democracy”. Which should answer your second question. I.e. that people vote strategically. Cus u asked for a “massive left vote”

Edit: oh yes you asked for an alternative. The sink is clogged, we need to fix it. But the bucket works, what is your alternative?!?!
