Staffers for Rep. Haley Stevens (D-Mich.) are reportedly resigning over the lawmaker’s recent decision to endorse former Rep. Mike Rogers (R-Mich.) in Michigan’s competitive Senate race.

“Hello, as of November 1st I am no longer with the Office of Congresswoman Haley Stevens,” the automated email reply from Stevens’s former communications director reads.

A statement, first shared by CNN, from Stevens longtime chief of staff Justin German said as of Sunday morning, “Many members of our team have resigned, including myself.”

“We are shocked and heartbroken by Congresswoman Stevens’s decision to support Mike Rogers,” German wrote.

When asked about her decision to endorse Rogers, Stevens said in a press conference it was in response to “hate” and El-Sayed’s ties to political streamer Hasan Piker.

I don’t know too much about Hasan Piker, but it looks like from his Wikipedia page that he’s very outspoken against Israel for all the atrocities and war crimes they’re committing.

It looks like Stevens has been bought by Israeli money, so I’m guessing that’s the reason for her endorsement.

“It’s my personal and private decision. I still love the party. I’ve done a ton for the party. I’ve voted for the party over and over and over again. I’m going to continue to do that as I fill out my term,” the lawmaker said.

If it’s “personal and private,” then that means you don’t publicly endorse him, you corrupt dumbass.
