This right here. If polls are purposely inaccurate it’s not to sway one side or the other into voting or not voting, it’s simply to keep up engagement. And close polls keep people engaged.
If I was trying to influence the results towards Republicans I’d probably say the exact opposite, to make people rooting for El-Sayed not bother to vote.
