I mean there are definitely different kinds of emulation, I don’t usually consider mapping library calls and dynamic/static recompilation to be emulation in the same way I think of like a ps2 emulator, but it’s not inaccurate to say. I just wouldn’t call them emulation personally.
But for the same money you can buy a real mini PC and not have to emulate them…
