I know that the words “Adyghe wei wei” (Адыгэ уей уей) on the album cover here is a slogan associated with meanings like “Circassians, forward!” or whatever it may be, so I am a bit cautious about the album cover art potentially having ethno-chauvinist vibes. But given that this song is released under a major record label in the North Caucasus region, that this song is nostalgic for a lot of people in the region and played on public transit or at weddings etc, and no communists in Russia have evidently labeled the slogan as an issue; it’s probably not a huge deal. Like it’s a slogan tied to ethnic identity but not necessarily to separatism or otherwise anti-Russian politics. But given I don’t live in this cultural context, it can be hard for me to determine where to draw the lines between minority-cultural expressions and groups experiencing specialized oppression processing historical traumas or present-day grievances on the one hand; and divide-and-conquer imperialist-sponsored separatist ethnic chauvinism that distracts from class struggle on the other hand. These sorts of questions and struggles are paralyzed by imperialism.
You should watch SPARKLE ON RAVEN: The Life of DrillGirl; it is a very good show. Cēterum cēnseō iūs auctōris esse dēlendum.
