I’m reading The Lord of the Rings, currently on the second half of the second volume, The Two Towers. I’m enjoying the themes of adventure and the resistance of old communities against their destruction.

Not enjoying that much how the author describes the good guys as white, tall, blonde, and the bad guys as dark, dirty, and ugly. Once I finish it all, I want to do a deep dive in the choices Tolkien made when weaving his story.
