Pretty weird considering that most politicians say stuff on video nowadays and not really writing articles anymore since the invention of the radio pretty much lol. Josh Turek of Iowa, Democrat, comes out with one of the worst anti-trans ads yet.
Not only is it an anti-sports ad, it proposes a ban on federal funding for gender affirming care. That would hit all medicaid and medicare patients, and any ACA federally-subsidized plans as well.
You people are so ignorant and short-sighted while lecturing everyone else and calling them ignorant, it’s honestly baffling.
What do you think other dem campaigns will look like if the transphobe manages to end an 18 year losing streak? Why do you think giving yards and miles to the fascists is acceptable in any form?? How do you hope to accomplish anything if you keep bowing your head and licking dem boot?
Having watched it happen over and over already when the right sounds it moves farther right each year. When the left winds out moves left.
We have racists and nazis now because they keep winning because there is no perfect dem and people vote 3rd party or don’t vote “to send a message”. It doesn’t fucking work.

Fact is you have two real choices because of how elections work
Fact is if you don’t push for the lesser, even going as far as to push people to not vote for them, you are actively pushing for the worse person to win
Fact is the more dems that win, the more power the whole party gets. That means more progressives have real power to change and can sway the more right members of the party.
Fact is anyone pushing “they are the same” and not voting are responsible for the bad caused by the right winning more and more and helping to push their Nazi agenda.
Fact is people that are willing to throw minorities under the bus to appeal to fascists are not progressive.
Fact is that if they win, other states will take note and copy.
Fact is that if you vote for lesser fascism you are still voting for fascism.
Fact is you have no plan, no clue and don’t want to do anything hard so you just keep voting blue hoping things will turn around someday somehow.
