This got removed from politics because “Video links are not allowed” apparently? Pretty weird considering that most politicians say stuff on video nowadays and not really writing articles anymore since the invention of the radio pretty much lol. Hope it’s a better fit here, this is the kind of stuff people should be aware of.

Josh Turek of Iowa, Democrat, comes out with one of the worst anti-trans ads yet.
Not only is it an anti-sports ad, it proposes a ban on federal funding for gender affirming care. That would hit all medicaid and medicare patients, and any ACA federally-subsidized plans as well.
If you’re not willing to stand up for minorities, you do not deserve democracy.
Voting is standing up for them. Not voting is surrendering their fate to the decisions of others.
Voting for stripping people of their rights is standing up for those people and their rights.
