This got removed from politics because “Video links are not allowed” apparently? Pretty weird considering that most politicians say stuff on video nowadays and not really writing articles anymore since the invention of the radio pretty much lol. Hope it’s a better fit here, this is the kind of stuff people should be aware of.

Josh Turek of Iowa, Democrat, comes out with one of the worst anti-trans ads yet.

Not only is it an anti-sports ad, it proposes a ban on federal funding for gender affirming care. That would hit all medicaid and medicare patients, and any ACA federally-subsidized plans as well.

It’s not crystal clear though because other people still vote. So they would really have no idea you sat out because of this

Read carefully. I didn’t say “don’t vote at all”. I said “don’t vote for this seat”. They will have statistics for the ballots which didn’t vote for the Senate race but voted for other government positions.

And how do they know that the trans issue was specifically why? What if they see that and attribute it to some other issue he supports? There is no clear indication

If they can’t figure out that being against human rights was the cause for their loss, then I want nothing to do with them until they figure it out and change course.

Anyone who is against human rights does not deserve my vote.
