That’s not gonna work out for the dingoes. A kangaroo isn’t an easy kill. And Australians are culturally highly opposed to introducing foreign species.

Can you not get IO via a USB connected device/daughter board?
This is just people circle jerking to humans suffering and death. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aviation_accidents_and_incidents
About 500 people die a year. A lot of accidents happen in with bush planes and small, badly maintained jets. High profile accidents contribute rarely but feature higher victim count.
Only one of those is a function, get it right. () Call functions <> Specialize Templates, can be used to do compile time calls to things that behave like functions. [] Accesses elements {} Calls constructors, aka functions that do the initial setup.
Overloading these to do something else gets you in the naughty corner.
Edit: the implementation of the {} fuckery is no great. Just save the sum instead of all numbers.

Home Office is such an odd ball name for an institution. RTO hasn’t hit the britisch government, I guess.

This is cheese produced, not money made. Cheap cheese will drown all others in volume.

Actually perfectly intelligible. A dead assailant doesn’t exist. If you are dead you are no longer a possible assailant.

Not a great look on your part.
Someone was indoctrinated enough to take up knifes and try to kill police man/Israeli people in an embassy. That’s a tragedy at any rate.

Yeah, but diamonds can be bought with ease. So can the 5090, if you got the money.
And most diamonds and GPUs aren’t… Those.

Worst case scenario is much worse than you describe. If this is a big one it may cause collateral damage. Any economic crises mean hundreds or thousands of people dying. Wide reaching crises have knock on effects. Mitigating some damage is good.
AI is more than just a chat bot.

GPUs are available right now. Just not at MSRP because they don’t dare having real world/market rate in their ads.

That’s a recipe for economic death. Institutions are what defines nations economic lifeblood. There was a nobel price for econ for that last year or so. Let the companies die and capital redistribute. Let PE suffer. Don’t go down with the ship like a mariner when you can be saved at no net cost, but benefit to society. (History fun: apparently this was an issue in the past)

There is a difference from socializing losses and just minimizing collateral damage to the people. We shouldn’t repeat the 20s/30s.

don’t save open AI, but maybe don’t let it propagate into a banking and financial systems crash. And preserve technology that is legitimately cool like efficient gpus. That compute exists now. And I want people to do productive things with it, like enabling the next generation of chip production.

I don’t think Microsoft or Nvidia vanishing from the face of the earth would be a met benefit. They hold so much institutional knowledge and customers that bricking those systems or not being able to GPU anymore might be… Not great.

I.e. accelerationism good?

This is accelerationism. We must bail out with calm those that should survive. Running damage control is good, actually. Save the economy, not OpenAI.
It is funny, but in a “I am going to hell for this” way. Australia has suffered greatly from misguided attempts.
