if you work in IT, you really need to think about what kind of job you’ll do in the next couple years.

edit: just to clarify, you won’t be looking for a job because AI took it. you’ll be looking for a job because AI crashed the economy and took the tech sector with it.

my work has also been ramping up AI rhetoric too. forcing training on how to use it and automated meeting invitations to feedback groups. this last week they sent at least 20 invites.

I’ll keep declining them and refusing to use it until it’s a requirement for employment. then I’ll break out the “AI goes against my religion” card.
