How does the value of equipment nowadays make it not age well? They were still worth a lot during the time the film is set.

Yeah i had started to move over, set up an email account, started to sign up to things through that instead of my existing account, but now I’ve mostly given up sadly. Better the devil i know for the time being when the cost of time to switch everything over is a lot, ideally I’d want to do it only once. What other alternatives do we have other than selfhosting? No matter how good an ai can be, what it writes should never be pushed as-is. It’s just like you shouldn’t ever have copy-pasted snippets from stack overflow to fix bugs.

Alan Wake 2 is much scarier but in a tension that keeps on building and building and that you never feel prepared for when shit hits the fan kind of way rather than a jumpscarey kind of way.

I am 100% not a horror game fan but the Alan Wake games are still in my “everybody should play these” list. 2 is probably in my top 10 maybe even top 5 list of all time favourites.

Mass Effect 1 & 2 were great though…
