I was thinking of the different actors as being like how Batman has different actors and how each one brings a different thing to the table. So i was on the right track there.

i’ve never seen any of the James Bond movies and it sounds like you know what you’re talking about, if I wanted to give one a try, is there any suggestion you’d have for someone coming off of this game?

The bugs are a shame. It might just be a me thing though. I ended up picking it up on Steam so ill have to see if an official copy is a lot less buggy. I’m hoping it is because those bugs are like my only major gripe

Honestly, I kept thinking “this is kind of like Hitman” the entire time I was playing. I honestly had no idea they were the same studio until after I had finished playing.

Also I agree with the Uncharted and Hitman sentiment. It hits that itch just right

Damn. I’m seeing it now, like the whole opening thing with him walking with the aperture? I wish I could say it was intentional but honestly I saw the tube and just went “wow. The light here is pretty. It’d be cool to do some light photography here with a silhouette”

I’m liking it so far. It scratches that itch for a new Uncharted Game I’ve had for a long time. It’s making me want to go back and replay 4 after this.

I really like the Story Beats and I’m liking how open ended some of the level design is. Having multiple options to get around and to get places is nice and makes it feel a little more immersive

The lack of action parts were something I noticed. I do wish there were more parts where we could get into shootouts. I know it’s not exactly fair to keep comparing it to Uncharted but that was definitely something I felt like Uncharted did better

Loved the training montage tutorial thing. Honestly the whole opening is giving me Kingsman vibes. Which I have to imagine is a good thing. They seem rather similar to each other in the respect of their genre and I rather enjoyed that movie

Honestly, the game feels like a Singleplayer (or Co-Op) MMO, both in controls and story. That’s like the best way I can think to describe it

It definitely adds a degree of personilzation! When I’m going through the story it makes it feel much more meaningful to me to use Pokemon I like rather than whatever’s strongest. Plus, with the story I feel like any Pokemon can carry you to the finish line, there’s not much that’s difficult about the story.

I got a DS Lite to play on with a flash cart, but Emulation is super easy too. I’m not sure I can provide info on getting a ROM, but there’s MelonDS, which is an emulator I needed very little setup to use. Just run the executable and drag and drop the ROM.

I ended up brute forcing her with revives. I probably should have grinded but by that point I was so invested into the battle I didn’t want to give up.

I like the Kanto victory lap feel. I know it’d be a lot of work but I wish it was some they kept up going into Gen 3 and beyond

I haven’t actually. I think the only Pokemon fan fan I’ve ever really tried is pokemon fusion, which I really should playthrough to the end now that I think about it

Honestly, as much as I love going all Smogon and stuff in my teams, the composition is just whatever I feel like.

Right now I have a Gardevoir, a Pidegeotto, a Magmortar, Gyrados (The shiny at the lake of rage), a Sentret, and another one I can’t remember.

That version is always the version I think of when I remember this story. Somehow KoTH works well with it

it was a part of Origins and Valhalla I hated. I ended up making sure to turn it on in the Stealth options because of that. I can’t remember if Shadows had that flaw though

Honestly, as pretty as I find the new graphics, there’s a lot about the old graphics that I like more. I think the biggest one is the original was a lot more contrasty(?). Like. There were some strong lights and some dark shadows which worked really well for the setting imo.
