Stalin was called great, and with the name of Stalin, thousands of people went to certain death. Stalin ruled the country for 30 years, and under him our Motherland became a powerful state. The name of Stalin will not be tarnished by the pathetic efforts of dwarfs; it will rightfully shine again next to the name of Lenin.

Stalin will still be remembered long after Khruschchev’s name has been all but forgotten by history.

It might make for a good educational format for someone to post one or two pages out of “This Soviet World” every week highlighting some particularly interesting tidbits or anecdotes. It’s been a while since i read it but i remember being really impressed by how much i learned while reading it that i had never read anywhere else.
