why do you act like this is uncharted territory? the us has been doing the same for decades, even stuff that could be considered more hypocrite and pathetic.
Freedom is a synthetic enterprise, not a natural gift

i mean bro, it’s a one person open source project. i’ve seen tons of errors in duolingo througout the years and they’re a million dollar company… the idea is to contribute and make the bad parts better, but the foundation and the idea of the project is really good if you ask me.

i’m not saying there wasn’t money involved, but if you think a bot farm which is essentially not people is the same as people doing dumb missions on social media is the same thats on you.

shut the fuck up you chauvinist pig, you’re fucking whinning about piracy? go fuck yourself and your priviledged ass you scream about ai but you’re really complaining about people wanting free access to shit. go fuck yourself.

do you think everyone lives at the expense of the global south like you? 160 is a fucking lot for a lot of people.

the difference is that one paid for bot farms while the other one did political praxis. the right doesn’t have actual support from people on the street, they need to invent reality.

bolsonaro paid corporations for automated mass messaging, this is more like an ar game with the members of a massive group. it’s different because one is organic and the other one is a synthetic endeavour of the international bourgeoisie.
lula is not the left, tho, and if this model spreads to argentina for example to promote peronism it’s the same shit. of course i rather have them than gringo mc gringus fascist maximus as the president but it’s not that much better. it’s still reformist bullshit.

yeah, i do the same and it’s a very similar situation now that you mention it. although you could say that maybe some containers don’t hold information that’s very critical or something sometimes. also since you could backup the container with plakar it could be considered a higher security concern i guess? i also have my partition encrypted.

it’s a new tool, it’s similar to restic which is a bit older i think. i just think it’s a bit odd, keeping a secret in plain text. would using something like tpm to store the credential be a bit overkill? i’m not an expert so i don’t fully understand how it works but i think this way i could backup non-interactively and the key would only be in plaintext for some time in tmpfs while plakar does the back up. or is this dumb?

that lists some options. i have already read that file. i wanted to know if there is some better way to do this without leaving the key as plain text. so thanks i guess…

watch this video, it will help you understand why the position you’re taking is a reactionary right wing one. essentially the left is both internationalist and nationalist, it’s internationalism supports the nationalism and sovereignty of other nations, while the right is simply nationalist and it doesn’t support the nationalism of other people.
