Source: Official government data for multiple countries
So… no source, and a weird comment supposedly from France which never gave that kind of warning before. Is Newsweek really serious?

Mint is not a newbie distro. I use it every day and it’s fine for most needs. Distro wars have been stupid for more than 20 years.

I don’t think Microsoft or Nvidia vanishing from the face of the earth would be a met benefit.
Shutting down Microsoft would have been a good thing since the year 2000.

I reckon you should start with C
I tried that 20 years ago and it was a massive waste of time. Spend a few days to understand pointers, then embrace modern C++ with the STL, it’s safer and more productive.
Also cout is dead, you can use print, println, and format now.

All on Bandcamp because that’s where I get my official music :
Ridiculous Fishing: a weird fishing game that was available on iPhone for some time, then disappeared due to compatibility issues.
Guacamelee! 2: Kind of famous, but I like the soundtrack.
Eastward: a weird action RPG, like Chrono Trigger but more cozy, I love that game.
Axiom Verge: something something Metroidvania.

He also states that the justifications one uses for keeping ownership of the software are emotional (i.e. “This software is mine, and I wish to control it”) and economical (i.e. “I wish to become wealthy by programming.”).
He was right once again! That’s where I stopped reading, no time to waste on such bullshit that I have seen since the 90s.
It’s NOT funny! With all the AI shit, micro-managers trying to be clones of Hitler, and unemployment to make the line go up, it’s something I’m seriously considering.
“AI is inevitable, it’s the future.”
