Eminem has defended his guest verse on Kid Rock’s new faith-based album, saying a friendship that goes back decades matters more than the political divide between them. “Not about choosing sides, just choosing to make music with my old friend. Praying for all of us,” he wrote on social media hours after Halfway 2 Jesus came out on Friday.

His verse appears on “Heal My Faith,” which isn’t the song he was originally announced for. He was first billed on “7 Sins,” but the tracklist was reshuffled at the last minute, with Lil Wayne taking that song and Eminem moving to “Heal My Faith.” Kid Rock told Billboard they agreed they didn’t need two songs together, joking that otherwise “people are going to think we’re dating.” He also said he “really didn’t want to drag him into my political world,” and that the two talk politics only “a little bit, not a ton.”

It’s fine to have an opinion but can you point to something in the last twenty years besides overcoming an addiction that makes you feel that way?

          FWIW,

          wp:Eminem#Personal life

During the 2024 United States presidential election, Eminem publicly endorsed Kamala Harris. In October 2024, he appeared at a rally at Huntington Place in Detroit, where he spoke about the importance of voter turnout in Michigan and voiced support for Harris’s stance on civil liberties and freedom of expression.[397]

However, he should call out Rob Ritchie (“Kid Rock”) for supporting Trump.

I can’t tell which of them you’re trying to insult here… ODB, by nearly all accounts, was not a great guy. Despite being a hip hop legend.

ICP is goofy af, but their fanbase seems to be some of the nicest, most genuine people you’ll ever meet.

Also, every video I’ve seen with the two guys themselves, “out of character” (as much as you’ll ever see them at least), they’ve seemed like genuinely decent dudes. There’s one that comes to mind that they did with GWAR, I think on the Hot Ones yt channel that really made me come around on them.

It’s not about how bad the song is, it’s about the people he’s choosing to collaborate with.

demeaning the fuck out of women in almost every song? Making the mother of his child and his own mother the demons in a shit load of songs.

He’s a POS wholeheartedly, and now makes Christian rap with kid rock. Just a rich white man that the world would be better if he never existed, like a lot of other rich white men.
