I’ll stop saying the DNC does fuck all if they actually start imposing consequences for the past, I dunno, ten years and improve the material conditions of the working class.

Right now, Republicans control the White House, Senate, House and SCOTUS.

There’s very little Democrats can do if they won’t get some Republicans to join them.

This is why we should be creating the pressure on our politicians (yes, especially if they are Republicans) we also have opportunity to give Democrats control of the House and Senate which would change dynamics (yes, SCOTUS and trump would still stand in the way, but at least Democrats could do anything).

Yes, you might be frustrated with Biden, that he tried to return to the status quo, and that perhaps would actually work if Americans didn’t vote trump back in, but it happened. Now it is very clear we can’t return to the status quo and change is inevitable. We either create improved and better America (which happened in the past) or let it slip into authoritarianism.

Also DNC isn’t one coherent party it is made up of smaller ones, it’s basically party for everyone who doesn’t support today’s Republican party. There are caucuses like for example Blue Dogs which essentially are Republicans who don’t like trump. There’s also Promise to America (let’s just compromise with Republicans) and so called New Democrats which are described as center left, but everywhere else they would be right leaning.

So Democrats have to negotiate with themselves whatever they want to do. If you are unhappy help vote then out.

For example, here is a spreadsheet that helps to track their performance:

      https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1gPBdBrqVCbtuy7f1bjOdCDUzEv5RqbbU1yYAr3KoHYE/edit?pli=1&gid=583502795#gid=583502795

I’m glad to see it is getting more and more progressive, but we need more.

Honey I’ve been around long enough to know the DNC aren’t friends to working class people, they’re just not as terrible as the RNC.

I’ll happily change the tune I’m singing when it is no longer applicable but I ain’t gonna hold my breath.

You can hope into one hand and shit in the other, lemme know which one fills first.

Hope don’t make things better for the workers. Shame that the DNC don’t really do that either.

Again, Democratic party isn’t a single party. The First Past The Post is mathematically leading to two dominant parties. That’s why we currently have Republicans vs everyone else. If Republicans pay would get dissolved Democrats could easily split into conservatives and progressives.

If we want to have more parties the only way is either to change to proportional representation (the number of seats is determined by the percentage of views won) kind of difficult to change in US.

          Or replace FPTP with RCV.

This is why MAGA didn’t start as a separate party and instead hijacked Republicans. Progressives need to do the same with the Democratic party.

what is that going to accomplish when the law mandating these files to be released has not been followed by the corrupt administration that signed it?

The justice system may be dead, but that doesn’t mean justice is dead. It just means you’ll have to find new methods to deliver it. The legal system existed to keep the peace. Everyday, these criminals wake up and wage active warfare against the people they’re supposed to represent. If you aren’t going to fight back, at least speak out. There’s far too much calm and silence in the streets, given how you’re all being treated. “What can I do?” For starters, you can shame the ever-loving fuck out of anyone who dares espouse “Conservative values” (the oxymoron of the century). Rage against the machine.

Yes, ask the DOJ to appoint a special counsel to do what should have been their job in the first place. The very same DOJ who have actively being trying to bury the most incriminating files, reacting names they shouldn’t and outing victims names instead. Yep, definitely the right people to appoint a special counsel who will find nothing.

Judge Cannon said Special Counsels are unconstitutional unless they are confirmed by the senate or appointed by the president so DOJ can’t do it

I wouldn’t be surprised at this point if they call their bluff and say “Let me introduce you to our new Special Counsel, Matt Gaetz!”

Thinking the department of jack-offs will do anything aggressive toward this pedophile shithead is laughable.
