Greek life needs to be banned. Party and hook up cult is damaging at best and puts you in touch with the worst of humanity.
Not that I’m defending Greek life, but advocating the banning is suggesting it is Greek life that is the cause of party and hookup culture. That seems to be a very suspect position. Partying and hooking up exist in many many places where Greek life doesn’t and has never existed.
I doubt young people are going to give up on partying and hooking up just because there isn’t a frat or sorority house around. It seems more likely the outcome of banning Greek life is that the party and hookup culture continues to exist outside of the Greek life events and locations.
I read a book called “Blackpilled” by Elle Reeve. The most shocking thing in the book was her interviews with “old guard” Nazis. Think people like Stacy Ketch in “American History X”, or Patrick Stewart (RIP) in “Green Room”. According to Reeve, the one thing they all said about the alt right youngsters was they were disgusted by how poorly they treated their women.
Rape is a partizan issue in the US, and conservatives are pro.
