Vampire Survivors, got hooked on unlocking ode to Castlevania Content.
Just finished Spider-Man 2 on my PC with my Steam Controller. That was the first time I really used that controller and damn, it’s really good! I kind of don’t want to go to the Steam Deck anymore. It’s so heavy.
On the Frame I’m playing Jedi Outcast via JKXR and having a blast. Some bugs are present but nothing I can’t work around.
Half life Alyx. It’s such a good game that it makes me sad there isn’t more.
At least there are tons of custom maps in the workshop.
God of War (2018) and Forza Horizon 6 on my Steam Deck
Grand Theft Auto V (2015, Legacy Edition) and Warhammer 40k Space Marine Anniversary Edition on my Steam Machine
Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse. I am a huge fan of The Rogue Prince of Persia, plus I love Castlevania, so been looking forward to this one. And I gotta say, I am not disappointed in the slightest - it’s an excellent addition to the franchise.
A PoP inspired Castlevania??? Sign me the fuck up
And they are probably my favorite game from each franchise.
I had tried rogue-lite games a couple of times, but didn’t really catch my interest. But ended up loving a rogue-lite PoP big time. And their composer for the music in both games is amazing, not to mention their graphic artists - I really dig their art style.
Still streaming Elite Dangerous from the PC to my deck
Playing Pathogenic on the Deck and I suck. Only ever get to the liver 😭.
On Frame I was dabbling a bit with Valheim and Deep Rock Galactic VR mods. It’s so cool. But in DRG I am also too bad in VR to play with my friends, for some reason it’s really hard to orient myself, which seems strange (my expectation is that it would be somehow better in VR).
In Valheim VR I still need to figure out how to adjust head height, 'cause I’m like an ant stalking through the grass 😅. But it’s so rewarding really hitting the enemies.
I’m doing my first playthrough of Red Dead Redemption 2 on my Steam Machine. It’s so good, I can’t believe I haven’t played it before. It also runs very well on the Steam Machine.
I grabbed Talos Principal 2 for $3 and got Pragmata too. Pragmata is fun, I’m enjoying it. I’ve only done the intro for Talos 2 so can’t say much about it.
Also jamming out to Breachway recently. It hooks you with the unlocks dammit lol
I really enjoyed my time with Pragmata, capcom had a really good year for releases imo.
Dude Capcom has been killing it recently. All the resident evils they’ve released recently are bangers. Monster Hunter world is hundreds of hours long. I’m forgetting a few IPs they’ve published, and now pragmata. They’re a AAA studio still doing good gaming.
Another good publisher I’ve noticed recently is Devolver. They have some fun games out too.
Onimusha was really good as well. I almost never buy games full price (outside of a few JRPG series), but both Onimusha and Pragmata got me to break that this year, and they were both worth it.
My steamdeck has been getting more use than ever! I’ve been playing some Valheim with my wife and Enshrouded when she doesn’t want to play Valheim.
What’s your enshrouded config look like? Im only getting an unstable 40fps Max
hooked my deck with a dock up to the living room tv, and the kiddos have been having a blast playing Lego Party
Over the Hill has been my main deck game. Going to pick up Chained Beasts later and looking forward to Super Woden GP 3
I’m nearing the end of the Ace Attorney Apollo Justice collection, it’s a fantastic series for the deck, gets around 4 hours of battery life or so. The whole series is worth your time.
Deck: just finished Citizen Sleeper last night.
Frame: The Mailroom and Scared by Squares
Golfinte. It’s no PS era Hot Shots Golf but it’s a good 2D game. Just turn off obstacles.
Jump King. There’s something oddly satisfying about making net negative progress in a game.
