I’ve cancelled my subscription yesterday, conveniently it was about to renew at the end of the week, so I have a few days to migrate from Proton, here’s what I’m thinking of, but I’d love to hear what other people are switching to
First of all, that’s great in and of itself. I use Tuta for e-mail and I’ve been looking into a calendar solution to integrate with Home Assistant, and now it sounds like I could connect Tuta Calendar to NextCloud Calendar and then NextCloud Calendar to Home Assistant, so that’s cool.
That said, I wish they were doing it even more integrated, in the sense of having Tuta host a NextCloud instance itself so that I didn’t have to go through the effort of self-hosting it just for that. (Either that, or they could have Tuta Calendar integrate with Home Assistant directly, but it sounds like that isn’t planned [warning: R*ddit link])
