If were ever in “ive lost my trashcan” territory, Id really prefer they not make it a cutesy segment on the news while my house is ripped down to the studs

The wheels have fallen off some time ago but the bottom has not yet worn through from dragging it up to the curb each week.

i lose a lid every now and then, always found nearby in the street or sidewalk. the recycle bins were stolen years ago. the actual bins sit in a gap between two buildings and next to the sidewalk (right where they need to be for collection). if they don’t sprout legs and walk off like the recycle bins did, it would take a flood or twister for them to disappear.

Maybe a close equivalent for this would be the Beaufort scale.

The lid def can’t be moved by a Bft 1 or 2 wind, would probably guess at the very least a 4 or 5.

      Lid flipped open - 4 to 5
      Tipped over - 6 to 7
      In the neighbour’s garden - 8 to 9
      Down the street - 10 to 11
I’ve lost my rubbish bin - 12 and beyond

Maybe lid flipped open at the moment or tipped over if this is the scale I get evaluated on everytime I go to the doctor. I ise to be down the street, took m3dicine for years saw no improvement. Changed medication saw minor improvement for a short while. Decided to just stop and force myself to do the things I need to get done and it finally improved.

This is not an advocation. To stop medicating. It’s extremely important to follow doctors direction even though I didn’t. Sleep was rough when I stopped for a few months but eventually wverything evened out. But I weaned myself, I didnt stop outright.

Another thing is your body is always changing so what might work two years ago, might not work the same today. I only did it the way I did it because I couldn’t afford my copays.

What helped me is having a good partner, I know not everyone has that.

I’m in a pendulum motion between “Lid flipped open” and “Down the street” depending on how well i have spaced out my committments over the week.
