Attorney General Todd Blanche on Sunday defended the Trump administration’s lawsuit to block certification of Alaska’s Senate results if Republican incumbent Dan Sullivan loses the race and argued that the legal challenge was a necessary step to avoid confusing voters in the closely watched midterm race.
Middle TN here … Wife and I got the early voting done. No odd things . Our town has push button and prints on a paper receipt before confirm so no shennanigans for us. Seemed pretty busy for the time we went.
Nice!
I early voted yesterday. Was glad to see a line of about 30 people when I arrived, took about 20 minutes, and the line had grown to 50ish when I left. Normally the polling station is a ghost town in a non-presidential election.
Also same on the machine results. I checked the confirm screen and the ballot printout and both were accurate.
Lying and saying he isn’t just makes you look stupid.
Donald is 100% trying to fuck with the Alaska election results. Same with the Omar race in Minnesota.
The only thing you or I can do about this is to vote. If your precinct allows early voting, take the time and do it. (I’m voting today, in fact.)
Do not trust your ballot to mail-in voting this time around if you do not have to, as mail-in voting is fraught with perfectly legal ways to manipulate it, such as shutting down USPS machinery “for maintenance” as was done in 2020.
Be there and put your ballot in the box yourself. That is the only way to know your voice is being heard this time around.
Mail in voting is still the safest and most convenient way to vote. There’s a lot of fear mongering going around about mail in voting, but every way to try to fuck with it has already been stopped in court, and any interference in the past is only affected a tiny minuscule number of ballots that were, eventually, counted.
If you want to feel more secure about your mail in ballot, use a ballot dropbox instead of a US Postal Service mailbox.
Don’t fall for the bullshit. Vote.
The Party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command.
