To do what?

To do what?

I really still can’t tell if you’re stubbornly bad at making jokes or don’t know what a doctor of philosophy is.

Well that’s a dumb response. You think just scientists in general are “the bad ones”?

Passing a budget once a year and shutting down the government if it’s vetoed. Literally the only concrete action they can take. I explicitly said that was the singular thing, so I don’t know why you think I brushed aside a bunch of other options.
But since you seem to think there are, please list some instead of these contentless responses. Should be easy since there are so many.

Since you’re potentially German (or even if you’re not) there’s a pretty famous poem about disregarding attacks on minority populations. You may have heard of it.

The NYT has a pathological need to both sides, even if it’s ridiculous. Reality has been to relentlessly one-sided so they’re trying to manufacturer their own October surprise. They really are a trash paper that shouldn’t be held in high regard.

There’s literally nothing Congress can do that is not performative bullshit. The same senators that will block impeachment will block any worthwhile legislation. The only concrete power they have is passing a budget once per year. Everything else is performance.
And they’re legislative political leaders. That’s actually part of their job. Every statement, investigation, speech, and vetoed bill is a performance to convince voters to support them and turn against their opponents. The only thing they do that’s concrete is passing legislation (and impeachment) and if those things are blocked you do performances to try to unblock them or at least hurt your opponents in future elections.

Looking upward, not forward. And always twirling, twirling, twirling towards freedom!

How can Democrats influence either of those things? The war is illegal, the recourse is impeachment. Healthcare is legislation. The same senators that will deny a supermajority for impeachment will deny overriding a veto.

Hey, there were two Alaskan voters that opposed it. A literal Republican senator and a guy working for the opposing campaign. Mixed!

It’s really wild that a doctoral student concerned about the war on Iran would be undecided at this point.

The MSM making a big deal of the supposed recruitment is a big reminder of how they want to create a bothsides world. This:
If Peltola was behind this it feels more like bait for the Republican’s to lose their shit over a non-issue than a legitimate dirty tactic. Like I respect that she’s willing to play for keeps, but also hope she didn’t think this was some master strategy. If she did then I’m really worried.
It’s a funny demonstration of why ranked choice voting is cool, but the NYT is treating this as if they uncovered unconscionable election tampering. Which then fuels actually dangerous Republican stunts like this.

I think this is a better response to trying to do a full breakdown of how many of each category are wrong or missing. If there are citizens on the list at all the DHS didn’t do their job and the list is an unreliable threat to lawful voters. No citizens should ever be on such a list. If you don’t know who’s a citizen you have no business making such a list at all.
Saying “it’s mostly wrong, here’s X citizens, Y people who have never been registered, Z people that don’t live here in the first place” puts the onus on the voting official to investigate every name and gives conservatives ammo to pretend everyone not accounted for is an illegal voter.

No legislator is more valuable sitting as one of 100 for a decade or two than taking their turn as president.

And importantly you don’t need to win the worst among us, just the better 51%.

Yes, there were plenty of misogynists who voted against her on the basis of her being a woman.
Or, y’know, because they’re Republicans. Anyone with misogyny as an overriding political belief system isn’t an available vote for Democrats. They don’t just want a male leader, they want a misogynist that will validate their feelings and shield them from consequences. And the Republicans will always provide that to them, with or without a penis in the pants.

Canada, Mexico, UK, France, and Japan all voting For.

And his other son is living in Texas avoiding prosecution in Brazil for the coup plot.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu repeatedly warned on Tuesday of what he claimed was unusually high voter turnout in Arab communities, accusing Arab voters and left-wing parties of trying to “steal the election.”
In a series of social media posts, Netanyahu shared photos of Arab citizens casting their ballots alongside images of supposedly empty polling stations in cities considered Likud strongholds.
“Steal” the election by going out to vote while your voters stay home. He explained in text with supporting imagery how this wasn’t fake votes for his opponents or discarded votes from his supporters, but calls it stealing nevertheless.
Also, I don’t know what Israel’s voting situation is like, but crowded polling places in minority areas and empty (i.e., fast and convenient) polling places in majority areas sounds like the intended results of voter suppression efforts.
This comment really sounds like you think doctors of philosophy study philosophy.
