It’s not really stupid. Warners and the Crichton estate were in talks about an ER reboot and when negotiations failed, Warner went through with the project anyway.
It will be interesting to see in the discovery phase just how much of the original project outline relates to the current show.
Such a horribly drawn equivalence. Money isn’t speech. Money is volume. You’re free to say what you want. Having more money just means you’re able to say it louder.
Au contraire. Most recent episode I tried to watch was with guest star “Jalen Brunson”. Could barely get through it because it was so dull.
Two weeks later they had that loser Shane Gillis back on. 🙄
That chart looks like the lack of a progressive income tax to me.
SNL hasn’t been relevant or funny in ages.
It will be interesting to see what they do with this control. There’s a lot of bullshit they could repeal and/or put the brakes on. Let’s see if they do it.
Should have done it after Gore “lost”.
Depends on what you mean by “in power”. Six of the Supreme Court justices are Catholic.
Looks like it’s an option you have to turn on or can turn off.
“This is BULLSHIT!!!”
Not the Texas conservatives I know. They have told me they are voting straight ® down the ballot. They don’t care (see also Ted Cruz, Donald Trump).
In the US, it’s probably because most of the mainstream media is owned by conservatives.
Examples:
Rupert Murdoch owns Fox News, NY Post, and the Wall Street Journal.
CNN and CBS News (as weak as a number of other channels) are run by the Ellison family. There has been talk of making them sell CNN to someone else, but it hasn’t happened yet.
The Washington Post is owned by Amazon mogul, Jeff Bezos.
The Hill and NewsNation are owned by Nextstar (who also own the largest number of broadcast tv stations). Founded and run by Perry Sook.
This is a good point. You lose existing users through attrition. How do you attract new subscribers to a site they cannot see?
They could leave the front top 50 posts of the day available as an attractor. With a “sign up to see more” banner at the end of the scroll. Is current leadership smart enough to do that?

I wonder how advertisers on Reddit will respond to this? It will certainly result in less ad views.
There have been at least two books written by previous FaceBook employees that describe FaceBook influence in elections. Perhaps these employees should read more.

“beautifying”
Interesting choice of words.
