Funny enough, I was writing about that yesterday.

I fucking loathe the Russians and Israelis, but this ain’t that.

I still can’t see why this is such a big story. A month or so ago I said they couldn’t get half a dozen for $1.4M. Turns out they’re getting 3 or 4. No idea what they intend to do with them, but American adults outnumber them about a million to one. And some of us have shotguns.

Haven’t laughed out loud in a couple days, needed that.

No WHERE clause. Send it all here and I’ll sort it as I go.

Made this fridge magnet years ago and it’s suitable to our current times.

That sounds like some shit straight out of Snowcrash. And then we got ICE buying a couple of robot dogs…
“As part of Mr. Lee’s good neighbor policy, all Rat Things are programmed never to break the sound barrier in a populated area. But Fido’s in too much of a hurry to worry about the good neighbor policy. Jack the sound barrier. Bring the noise.”
― Neal Stephenson, Snow Crash

What’s the better idea? Without that legal fiction, new businesses would grind to a screeching halt and the entrenched monopolies would be even more powerful, as if that isn’t the root of our economic problems already.

The scam is stupid voters not putting in politicians that look after their best interests. Any economic system can and will be twisted to funnel money upwards. In any case, if you’re American you are not experiencing capitalism. People often say oligarchy, I think plutocracy is more on point, but it ain’t capitalism.

Xbox is a fraction of Microsoft’s total revenue. The golden goose is corporate Windows and Office, 85-90% of company profits. Sometimes seems they’d be better off just dropping the whole product.

I don’t have a problem with golden parachutes. If you got the juice to negotiate one in your contract and the company accepts because they want you badly enough, good for you. Keep in mind, at C-suite level, particularly CEO, people are often brought in to make unpopular decisions and take the heat for those before being fired for doing exactly as they were told. Yeah, I’d want some sort of guarantee.

Awesome! I have 4 pepper plants going right now. This has created a glut in the pepper supply for 200-feet around my house. Something must be done!

I can land a tech job as is. Too much experience for a tech support role and not the exacting experience employers can find with an army of WFH techs to pick from.

The odds of anyone getting shot walking down the street are infinitesimal. Your odds of getting flattened by a car however…

Bingo. Any reasonable judge would toss these cases for not having probable cause.
This also seems like easy legislation at the federal level. “Driving patterns gleaned from the use of an ALPR system does not, by itself, constitute probable cause.”

Neat! Trying this in a few minutes. Be lovely having everything go through my local Pihole VM.

And we have the Poarch Creek Indians here in NW Florida. I have yet to see an identifiable Indian, even at their own casino in Alabama. 1/512th Indian blood ain’t Indian.

And yet you don’t have a single example to enlighten me? And nothing to say about my second statement?

This is only $1.4 million for 3-4 dogs. Not a big deal financially or operationally. Not sure why they’re even bothering.
