If only Carrie was the one in control. Waiting the whole show to see Carrie fully snap, and when it happens it’s just her turning the wheel over to someone else. They didn’t even let her kill her mother in the end.
But everything up to that is extremely compelling and tremendously well acted.
I haven’t seen anything from him that compares with HH for scares. The bent neck lady in particular really stays with you. Bly Manor really doesn’t get there. House of Usher is closer.
