You play any of those on release? My first Bethesda game was Morrowind on the original Xbox. BGS games always get better with age. They tend to be very doodie on release. I expect more doodie releases from them. Oblivion remaster wasn’t made by BGS which is probably why it was not doodie on release.

Fo4 is not too bad on release, i don’t really have any crash, not much bug either(i5 4440, 1060 3gb, 8gb ram), but i do remember monsignor plaza is notorious for crashing.
but it was boring. Choices that matter? We don’t need those! Plot line simple and direct no thinking involved.
“Choice that matter” haven’t been BGS strength since Oblivion, and that’s not really why I play their games anyway.

If it’s going to be made in their Creation Engine then i’ll look forward to it because mods will give it years of possibilities and longevity BUT if it’s going to be made in the Unreal Engine then i won’t even bother checking it.
Oblivion remake was pretty but kinda disappointing and barely any mods to Frankenstein something different, also it ran like ass.
They’ve been trying to move to make their own build in mod manager and I think they want to start pay walling it or treating it like a appstore where they get a 30% cut.
Maybe it wouldn’t be so bad if you could use script extenders but all the worth while mods that are not just redskins and cheats need actual scripts not just .BSA files.
So I’ve given up on Bethesda. I’m hoping there is a future project like openmw but for skyrim special edition and people can just use that as a base game engine to do whatever with.

It was, which for my expectations made it like 50/50 that they’d have something to show right now. I’d expect that they’ve got a lot of the game built out already, but it might not present particularly well even if they had a 4 year development schedule. Schreier is now saying this game is at least 2 years away.

Check out Beyond Skyrim: Argonia. There’s no release date on it, but it is being worked on by modders
Just wait on the Beyond Skyrim projects to see the rest of Tamriel (or Tamriel Rebuilt and sibling projects, for Morrowind). They will, without a shadow of a doubt, be better than anything Bethesda puts out.
Bethesda of today would struggle with the goddamn weirdness that is Black Marsh in the lore. I’d rather have it remain this weird, alien place that we only know from stories than have Bethesda do a George Lucas and ruin the mystique of the lore by showing us some cookie cutter version of it.

I’ve played more amazing games this year than ever before and my backlog still keeps growing. Indie gaming is alive and well.
Indie games have been killing it.
Hell I’m still playing Final Fantasy on my Nintendo. And I have quit the backlog of games for it. Also shit ton of PS3, 4, and 5 games I haven’t played. Then add in my Xbox 360, One. Lastly have Switch and don’t forget backlog of Steam games that I own. So not waiting for this game.
And then they lie or make stuff up about how this one is going to be bad when we know nothing about it yet.
